Hannah manages sustainability programs, philanthropy, and initiatives to promote equity and women in leadership. She is also the Executive Director of the Environment Foundation, which has donated more than $3.5 million since its inception to fight climate change, bolster clean energy at scale and policy level, and foster environmental stewardship.
Her previous roles include a water lead-tester (recommendation: avoid the lead), cake baker (record: 16 lbs of butter), and environmental consultant (conclusion: not enough skiing included). She studied economics and environmental studies at Bowdoin College, with a minor in education. While on campus, she helped lead the “Diversity Matters” research and articles about how race and class affect students’ campus experience. Abroad in Tanzania, India, and Italy, she studied food systems and politics. As an advocacy and legislative intern, she analyzed 192,000+ public comments on the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument, researched the economic impacts of energy legislation and a plastic bag ban, and analyzed congressional contribution data.

The Aspen Skiing Company (ASC) is located in Aspen, Colorado. Aspen’s modern history was forged with the silver rush in the 1870s and was reborn in the wake of World War II as a ski destination. ASC operates the on-mountain restaurants and the four mountains in the Aspen Snowmass area - Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk - as well as the Five Star, Five Diamond property The Little Nell, the Limelight Hotel properties which operate in Aspen, Ketchum Idaho and Snowmass. ASC also operates the rental & retail stores of Four Mountain Sports as well as D&E and the Award-winning Ski & Snowboard Schools of Aspen Snowmass.
