Prior positions include leadership roles with the US Olympic Committee, Madison Square Garden, and various law firms, complemented by an academic background in law and business from Harvard and Stanford. Additionally, Rana serves on the board of Roaring Fork Conservancy.

The Aspen Skiing Company (ASC) is located in Aspen, Colorado. Aspen’s modern history was forged with the silver rush in the 1870s and was reborn in the wake of World War II as a ski destination. ASC operates the on-mountain restaurants and the four mountains in the Aspen Snowmass area - Snowmass, Aspen Mountain, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk - as well as the Five Star, Five Diamond property The Little Nell, the Limelight Hotel properties which operate in Aspen, Ketchum Idaho and Snowmass. ASC also operates the rental & retail stores of Four Mountain Sports as well as D&E and the Award-winning Ski & Snowboard Schools of Aspen Snowmass.
