Kendal Butler

Kendal Butler has over 30 years of experience in journalism and media management, currently serving as the Media and Publications Manager at Asphalt Institute since April 2009. In this role, Kendal acts as the Managing Editor of Asphalt magazine and oversees the development and publication of various materials, including books, manuals, and videos. Prior experience includes working as Art & Sections Supervisor at Lexington Herald-Leader, where supervision of graphic designers and editors was a key responsibility, and as a Journalism Instructor at Fugazzi College teaching courses in Broadcast Journalism. Additional roles include Editor-In-Chief at Lawrence County Advocate, News Director at WVNA-AM, and State Writer at The Tennessean. Kendal holds a B.S. in Journalism with a focus on Broadcasting from the University of North Alabama.
