Tara May has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Tara is currently a member of the Forbes Business Council and a member of the Board of Directors at HAAPE. In 2022, they served as the Chief Executive Officer of Aspiritech and also joined the Board of Directors at Neurowrx. In 2015, they became an Advisory Board Member and Strategic Digital Advisor at Just Wine. Prior to that, Tara held multiple positions at Winsight, LLC, including EVP & Chief Digital Officer and SVP of Media Products & Audience Development. Tara was also the VP of Product Strategy, Director of Community Engagement, and Senior Regional Editor at Patch from 2010 to 2015. Earlier in their career, Tara was a Community Manager for Triblocal.com at Chicago Tribune and an Education Reporter at Pioneer Press. Tara began their career as an Assistant Editor and Reporter at The Argus-Press, where they wrote political stories and served as a weekend editor.
Tara May attended Michigan State University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a specialization in business.
