John Dettl has extensive experience in labor and employee relations. John started their career as a Labor Relations Manager at Beverly Enterprises in 1984. John then worked at Marriott Corporation as a Sr. Dir., Employee Relations from 1990 to 1994. After that, they joined Host Marriott Corporation as VP, Field HR & Labor Relations from 1994 to 1997. John also worked as a Consultant, Labor & Employee Relations for a brief period in 1997. In the same year, they joined Loomis, Fargo as VP, Labor Relations and stayed there until 2002. Finally, they joined Asplundh Tree Expert Co. and served as Director of Labor Relations until 2013, when they were promoted to VP, Labor Relations.
John Dettl obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Public Affairs Management from Michigan State University, where they studied from 1973 to 1977.
