Christian Chan has had a successful career in investment management. Christian is currently serving as the Chief Investment Officer at AssetMark since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Allspring Global Investments for nine years, starting from 2013, as the Senior Portfolio Manager for Multi-Asset Class Solutions. Christian played a crucial role in developing the Multi-Asset Solutions (MAS) business at Wells Fargo Asset Management, where they worked for over a decade as the Head of Investments from 2002 to 2013. Christian also served as the Director of Investments at mPower Advisors from 1999 to 2001 and held roles as a Senior Analyst and Analyst at Asset Strategy Consulting from 1995 to 1999. Throughout their career, Christian has demonstrated expertise in alpha generation, portfolio construction, leadership, business development, improving investment performance, portfolio management, manager research, investment strategy, and thought leadership.
