Sherry Cortesi has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Sherry began their career at Associated Credit Union in 1987 and held various roles. As the Director of Support Services, they led and supervised several departments involved in operational efforts, ensuring a consistent and exceptional member experience. Prior to this, they served as the Support Services Manager, overseeing the mobile deposit platform and managing back-office functions. Additionally, Cortesi worked as a Business Development Manager, visiting car dealerships to promote ACU's lending program and maintaining relationships with the finance personnel. Sherry held the position of Operations Manager from 1987 to 2011 and also briefly served as Branch Manager from 1990 to 1993. In 2013, Cortesi joined the Quinn House Ministries as a Member of the Board of Directors.

Sherry Cortesi began their education in 1980 at Riverdale High in Murfreesboro, TENN. Sherry attended this school until 1983, though their field of study is unknown. In 1983, Sherry briefly attended MTSU, focusing on Psychology, but did not complete a degree.
