Brenda Sheils OBE has extensive experience in governance and leadership within the education and healthcare sectors. Currently serving as a NHS Providers Mentor and Trustee for the National Association for the Care and Resettlement of Offenders (NACRO), Brenda also holds the position of National Leader of Governance with the Association of Colleges and serves as a Non Executive Director at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust. As the Managing Director of Sheils Associates Ltd since April 2014, Brenda specializes in executive mentoring and coaching, particularly focusing on board development. Previous roles include Principal and Chief Executive at Solihull College and Vice Principal at Gloucestershire College. Brenda’s educational credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the University of Reading and further qualifications from Liverpool John Moores University and the Institute of Leadership and Management.
