Association of Old Crows
Steve Roberts has extensive work experience in the field of electronic warfare. Steve started their career at GEC Marconi in 1979, where they held various engineering and management roles in electronic warfare until 1996. After that, they joined GEC-Marconi Avionics as Chief Systems Engineer, leading simulation, design, and test activities for EW activities. In 2001, they became the Director of Technology, Electronic Warfare at BAE Systems. From 2004 to 2012, they worked at Leonardo in various strategy and leadership roles, responsible for creating strategic business plans and managing R&D budgets. In 2020, they founded Vespasian Consulting and served as the Managing Director until 2022. Currently, they are a Guest Lecturer & Career Consultant at VESPASIAN CONSULTING LIMITED and also the President of the UK Chapter at the Association of Old Crows since 2023.
Steve Roberts attended Dover College from 1970 to 1975. Steve later pursued further education at St. John's College, Cambridge University, from 1976 to 1979, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in Engineering & Computer Science.

The Association of Old Crows (AOC) is an organization for individuals who have common interests in Electronic Warfare (EW), Electromagnetic Spectrum Management Operations, Cyber Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA), Information Operations (IO), and other information related capabilities. The Association of Old Crows provides a means of connecting members and organizations nationally and internationally across government, defense, industry, and academia to promote the exchange of ideas and information, and provides a platform to recognize advances and contributions in these fields.
