Tracie Seward is a seasoned professional in the field of education and public health, currently serving as the Senior Director of Educational Pathways and Undergraduate Education and previously as the Senior Director of Outreach & Recruitment at the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) since January 2016. Tracie has held various leadership roles in admissions at George Washington University's Milken Institute School of Public Health from November 2011 to December 2015, including Director and Assistant Director of Admissions. Prior experiences include positions at The George Washington University Law School as Associate Director of Law Alumni Relations, and roles at several prestigious law firms in recruiting and professional assistance from 2004 to 2009. ASPPH is the voice of academic public health, representing schools and programs accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). ASPPH promotes the efforts of schools and programs of public health to improve the health of every person through education, research, and policy. Based upon the belief that “you’re only as healthy as the world you live in,” ASPPH works with stakeholders to develop solutions to the most pressing health concerns and provides access to the ongoing initiatives of the schools of public health. ASPPH created the brand This Is Public Health (TIPH) to raise awareness about education and career options in public health through student ambassadors, graduate fairs, partnerships, interprofessional activities, and other pipeline-building events for students.
