Barry McCarthy is an experienced individual who has worked in various roles in the financial trading industry. From being a lecturer in financial trading at Independent Colleges Dublin to founding their own algorithmic trading firm, Casimir Trading Systems, Barry has shown expertise in trading technology and quantitative research. With a background in futures trading at Marex Spectron and Geneva Ireland Financial Trading, Barry has a strong foundation in trading strategies involving a range of securities and derivatives. Their passion for finance was sparked during a summer internship with UBS Warburg, where Barry worked on their European equities proprietary trading desk. Barry holds a Master of Economic Science Degree and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from University College Dublin.
