Joe Furnari has over 20 years of work experience in the banking and financial industry. Joe started their career at The Bank of New York in 2000 as an Associate in the Corporate Trust Department. In 2002, they moved to Sumitomo Trust and Banking where they worked as an Officer and Buy-Side Analyst until 2004. Joe then joined Assured Guaranty as the Director of Credit Risk Underwriting and Portfolio Management. Their role at Assured Guaranty has been ongoing since September 2004.
Joe Furnari completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at Villanova University from 1996 to 2000. In 2008, they received formal credit training in Corporate Credit Risk from the NY Institute of Finance.
