Assystem
Stéphane Aubarbier is a graduate engineer from INSA Lyon and ESCP-EAP. He started his career at Assystem as a test engineer before taking on various responsibilities that led him to take charge of the automotive sector.
After a 5-year period with the ABB group where he managed the maintenance contract activities for France and then for Southern Europe, before managing the marketing and development of the service branch for Southern Europe, he returned to the Assystem group in 2002 to create the engineering activities and redevelop the energy & nuclear sector.
Appointed Executive Vice President of the group in 2005, he managed the automotive, manufacturing and energy sectors and led the development in the Middle East and Asia. He became Chief Operating Officer in 2018.
On January 24, 2023, he was appointed Deputy CEO of the Assystem group, in charge of all the company's activities. Stéphane Aubarbier was also President of Syntec-Ingénierie (French professional federation) and has been a member of the Strategic Committee of the French Nuclear Industry since 2011.
