Paolo Astaldi

Paolo Astaldi is currently the Chairman at Astaldi. Prior to this, they held the position of Project Control Manager - BIM Coordinator at Astaldi from June 2017 to March 2022. In this role, they were responsible for activities such as budget updates, forecasting, site production reports, executive summary dashboard updates, progress reports, procurement planning, investment planning, risk register updates, and industrial plan updates. Paolo was also responsible for BIM activities such as setting BIM rules and managing BIM workflow, coordinating and reviewing designer BIM submissions, developing and implementing WBS in the model, extracting and providing BoQ from the model, clash detection, and 4D implementation. Prior to their role at Astaldi, Paolo was a BIM Building Engineer - Computational Designer at 3TI PROGETTI S.p.A. from April 2017 to June 2017 and a Computational Designer at INDEXLAB from May 2016 to December 2016.

Paolo Astaldi completed a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Building Engineering - Ingegneria dei Sistemi Edilizi from Politecnico di Milano. Paolo also completed the CORe Credential of Readiness program from Harvard Business School Online with honors. Additionally, they have a Green Power certification from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a Swiss-European Mobility Programme (Erasmus) certification in Civil Engineering from ETH Zürich. Paolo Astaldi also has a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Building Engineering - Ingegneria edile from Politecnico di Milano and a high school diploma in Scientific studies PNI programme from Liceo Scientifico. Furthermore, they have an International Executive MBA (Digital Transformation) in Business Administration and Management, General from POLIMI Graduate School of Management. Finally, they have received certifications from MIP-Politecnico Di Milano in Project Management for EPC Fundamentals - Astaldi Academy and Technische Universität Graz in ACME (Advanced Construction Management and Economics).
