Alan Ong

Alan Ong started their career in 2003 as a Technician at Semitech Electronics Ltd. In 2004, they joined STMicroelectronics as a Maintenance Engineer and worked there until 2009. From 2009 to 2010, Alan worked at NEPES PTE LTD as a Senior Equipment Engineer, where they were in charge of the Bumping Line Equipments and led a team in troubleshooting equipment related problems. In 2010, they joined Micron Technology as an Equipment Engineer, where they were responsible for proposing and executing improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and performance. Alan also worked with suppliers to reduce costs and improve parts availability. In 2017, Alan joined the Institute of Microelectronics as a Manager. No end date is provided for this role.

Alan Ong obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Nanyang Technological University Singapore. Alan pursued their studies at the university from 1999 to 2003.
