Chan Kuen Sim has extensive work experience in the field of research and engineering. They started their career in 2002 as a Research Engineer at the Institute for Infocomm Research. They then advanced to the position of Senior Research Engineer I from 2006 to 2011. In 2011, they became a Senior Engineer II and later a Senior Engineer III from 2015 to 2018. Currently, Chan Kuen Sim is working as a Senior Engineer at the Institute of Microelectronics, a position they have held since July 2018.
Chan Kuen Sim earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics from Nanyang Technological University Singapore, where they studied from 1996 to 1999. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Electronics at the National University of Singapore, from 2000 to 2003.
