Chow Choi Lan

Chow Choi Lan has a strong background in the field of microelectronics, with experience in both research and managerial roles. From 2000 to 2006, Chow worked at TECH Semiconductor as a Technical Specialist in the Photolithography engineering group. In this role, they provided engineering support for experimental work, as well as data extraction and analysis.

In 2006, Chow joined the Institute of Microelectronics. Initially, they worked as a Research Engineer, specializing in wafer fabrication projects. Their responsibilities included working with both 8-inch and 12-inch wafers and focusing on Lithography, Thin-film modules - Chemical Vapor Deposition, and Physical Vapor Deposition modules.

After nine years as a Research Engineer, Chow was promoted to the position of Assistant Manager in 2015. In this role, they continued to contribute to the Institute of Microelectronics until their most recent role as a Manager, which began in April 2023.

Chow Choi Lan attended the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) from 2001 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Technology with Electronics. In 2009, they also attended Singapore Polytechnic for a brief period and obtained a WSQ-Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health, specializing in Workplace Safety and Health.
