Junji Koizumi

Junji Koizumi currently serves as Vice President and Head of Corporate Development and Strategic Operations at Astellas Pharma since April 2023. Prior to this role, Junji Koizumi was a Board Member at the Saudi Arabian Japanese Pharmaceutical Company Limited from April 2020 to October 2023. Junji's extensive career at Astellas Pharma Inc. spanned nearly 18 years, during which positions included Vice President and Head of Corporate Alliance Management, Executive Director of Global Alliance Management, and various leadership roles in corporate planning, licensing, and marketing. Earlier experiences included a supervisory board role at GI-Yamanouchi European Partnership and managerial positions within Yamanouchi and Yamanouchi Philippines, Inc. Junji Koizumi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from International Christian University, obtained in 1993.
