Astep is a design company that brings to the domestic landscape, the experience, knowledge and the future-oriented outlook that has been nurtured in the Sarfatti family for three generations, and bridges it with the latest developments in digital technologies.

The first range of products reflects the very core of Astep; embracing both the evolution of light and timeless design. The flame luminaire Candela, designed by Francisco Gomez Paz,
is a manifesto; embodying the evolution of light by transforming the heat of a flame
into electricity. This revolutionary product is complemented by a timeless collection of luminaires designed by Vittoriano Viganò in 1951 and the iconic model 2065 designed by Gino Sarfatti for Arteluce in 1950.
