Craig Gardiner has extensive experience in the Formula One engineering field, currently serving as Deputy Chief Engineer - Vehicle Performance and Head of Vehicle Performance at Aston Martin F1 Team since November 2020. Prior roles include Simulator Team Leader at SportPesa Racing Point F1 Team, Senior Simulator Test Engineer at Sahara Force India Formula One Team, and Race Engineer/Performance Engineer at Sauber F1 Team. Craig Gardiner began a career as a Vehicle Dynamics Engineer at Force India F1 Team and as a student in the Vehicle Dynamics Department at Midland/Spyker F1 Team. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Hons in Automotive Engineering from Loughborough University, completed in 2007.
