Carl Maycock has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Carl started their career as a Telephony Engineer / Computer Engineer at EQLogic, where they installed and maintained various digital and VOIP PBX solutions, desktop computers, and servers. Carl also handled structured cabling and block wiring. Carl then worked at Mayflex as a Project Sales Technical Specialist, managing project sales to medium/large companies and handling technical specifications and design. At The CDI Group, Carl served as a Senior Systems Engineer, responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining network switches and wireless solutions across the UK. Carl also worked at Data Pacific Limited as a Senior Support Engineer / Onsite Support Team Leader, managing a team of engineers and maintaining the IT infrastructure at Aston Villa Football Club. Finally, they joined Aston Villa Football Club itself as the Head of IT, overseeing the IT department.
From 1991 to 1993, Carl Maycock attended Cadbury Sixth Form College where they studied Art/Art Studies, General.
