John Williams has a wide range of work experience, starting in 2000 as a logistics co-ordinator at Sentinel Doors. John then moved on to Astra Games/Novomatic in 2004, where they served as a Test Team Leader, managing a team of 5 people in a fruit machine manufacturing environment. In 2014, they were promoted to Head of Programming at Astra Games, where they were responsible for the creation and evolution of a programming/repair station to support the company's growth. Currently, they are working at Novomatic Gaming UK as a Product Specialist, a role they started in 2019. Overall, John has experience in team management, technical support, customer service, and designing/managing systems.

John Williams attended The Open University from 2019 to 2022, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Business Management with a specialization in Accounting. Prior to that, they attended Pontypridd Technical College from 1997 to 1998 but did not complete a degree or specific field of study. From 1991 to 1997, John attended Tonyrefail Comprehensive, where they obtained GCSE qualifications and an NVQ Level 2 in subjects such as English, Maths, Business Studies, and Electronics.
