Currently serving as General Manager at ASTRA POLYMERS since March 2019, previously held the position of Technical Director at Paya Polymer Dana from November 2016 to January 2019. Balanagendran also contributed to ASTRA POLYMERS as Technical Sales Manager from May 2010 to October 2016. Prior to this, Balanagendran worked as Technical Manager at Constab Middleeast Polimer, focusing on new product and process development, and held the role of Deputy Manager in R&D at Cosmo Films Limited, specializing in BOPP film manufacturing. Balanagendran holds a Master's degree in Polymer Science & Rubber Technology from Cochin University of Science and Technology and another Master's degree in Chemistry from Gandhigram Rural Institute - Deemed University.
