Amartya Sengupta

Amartya Sengupta is a finance professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Finance at Astra Tech since May 2024. Prior experience includes key roles at Block as Finance & Strategy lead for Global Money Movement, Afterpay as Senior Finance Business Partner focused on Global Payments & Strategy, and Orica in Performance Reporting and Analysis. Further experience includes senior management positions at MYER, mergers and acquisitions at PPB Advisory, and corporate finance valuations at KPMG Australia and PwC Australia. Amartya holds a Chartered Accountancy designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, a Master’s Degree in Accounting from RMIT University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Information Technology from QUT. Early education includes an International Baccalaureate from Port Moresby International School.
