Micah Williams

Micah Williams is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as a Staff Launch Systems Engineer at Astra, focusing on the design, implementation, and validation of advanced Ground Support Equipment and Mobile Launch Systems since June 2024. Previously, as a Systems Integration Engineer at Moxion Power, Micah led safety and hazard analysis initiatives, ensuring compliance with UL 9540, while enhancing system verification and validation processes. Earlier experience includes roles as a Launch Controls and Automation Engineer and Flight Director at Astra, a Propulsion Test Engineer, and a Marine Engineer at the Marine Engineers Beneficial Association. Micah began a career in social media consulting at The RealReal, leveraging skills in content management and customer engagement. Micah holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University Maritime Academy, completed in 2016, and has an educational background from Drake High School and Western Academy of Beijing.
