Luke Simonson

Luke Simonson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in firmware and software development within the automotive and aerospace industries. Currently serving as the Hardware Integration and Production Software Lead at Astranis Space Technologies, Luke previously held roles as Senior Software Engineer and Firmware Technical Lead at Sibros Technologies Inc., where responsibilities included creating secure over-the-air software solutions and vehicle firmware development. Prior to that, Luke contributed to the Firmware Engineer role at Tesla, focusing on vehicle controls firmware, and began as a Firmware Intern at Tesla, where foundational contributions were made to body control systems. Additional experience includes a Software Intern position at GE Aviation, developing regression testing tools for the Boeing 787, and work as a Research Programmer at the University of Michigan, concentrating on optimization in healthcare scheduling and data analysis.
