Paul Ward-Dolkas

Paul Ward-Dolkas is a seasoned Sr Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in diverse roles within the medical and aerospace industries. Currently employed at Astranis since February 2019 and at Imatrex Inc. since October 2014, Paul specializes in the design and engineering of real-time imaging X-ray systems for cancer diagnosis and radiation treatment. Previous positions include contributions to the design of factory tooling at Varian Medical Systems, management of robotic blood diagnostic systems at Abbott Hematology, and lead mechanical engineering for a Space Station experiment at NASA Ames Research Center. Paul has also worked on significant projects at Lockheed Research Laboratory and served as a consultant at Q Systems, D2M, and Speck Design. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and has pursued Master's degree coursework in Optical Sciences at the University of Arizona.
