Sam Yellin

Sam Yellin is an experienced aerospace software engineer currently serving as Flight Software Team Lead at Astranis Space Technologies since May 2021, overseeing the development and verification of satellite software. Previously, Sam held key roles at Blue Origin, where responsibilities included the delivery of safety-critical flight software for the BE-3U engine controller and collaboration with engineering teams to establish system requirements. Early career experiences included internships and co-op positions at UTC Aerospace Systems, focused on embedded controls and systems engineering, contributing to significant productivity improvements and design analysis for aircraft systems. Sam holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Purdue University.
