Doyle Cassar

Doyle Cassar is an accomplished medicinal chemist with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as an Associate Principal Scientist at AstraZeneca since December 2017, following a tenure as Senior Research Scientist in the same field. Prior to AstraZeneca, Doyle held the position of Medicinal Chemist at Selcia and worked as a Synthetic Organic Chemist at Peakdale Molecular. Academic background includes a PhD from the University of East Anglia, where research focused on the development of new planar chiral palladium complexes for asymmetric synthesis, along with a Master of Chemistry degree from the same institution. Doyle's educational journey began at Mountbatten School and continued through Peter Symonds College.
