Phil Mallinder

Phil Mallinder is an executive director at AstraZeneca, leading a team of approximately 30 global project managers in early oncology project management since July 2019. With extensive experience in global project management roles at MedImmune and Novartis, Phil has a strong background in managing drug development teams for immune-mediated therapies and respiratory diseases. Previous positions include project leader and team leader within AstraZeneca, where leadership encompassed both scientific and project management responsibilities. Phil holds a BSc and PhD in Biochemistry and Microbiology from The University of Sheffield.
