Armand Awad

Armand Awad is an accomplished aerospace professional with extensive experience in guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems and flight software. Currently serving as the Head of GNC & Flight Software at AstroForge, Armand has previously held positions as GNC Lead at Rocket Lab, Senior Controls Engineer at Wisk, and Guidance, Navigation & Control Engineer at LeoStella. Armand began a career in academia as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Advanced Dynamics, Validation & Control Research Laboratory at the University of Washington. Armand holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master’s degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from the University of Washington, completed in 2017 and 2013, respectively.
