Matthew Meiller has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Matthew has held various roles in companies such as Leonardo DRS, Astronautics Corporation of America, Signal Integrity Design Expert LLC, Connected Controls Inc., Ethicon Inc. (a part of Johnson & Johnson), Apple, Raytheon Intelligence & Space, Contract, Rockwell Automation, and Peak Gain Wireless.
At Leonardo DRS, Matthew worked as a Senior Test Engineer starting in April 2023. Prior to that, they were an RF and Wireless Engineer at Astronautics Corporation of America from September 2020 onwards. Matthew also served as an Antenna, Signal Integrity, and EMC Simulation Expert at Signal Integrity Design Expert LLC starting in September 2019.
From 2013, Matthew held the position of Executive RF and Wireless Engineer and owned 24% of Connected Controls Inc. where they developed wireless control systems for air brake testing in the rail industry. In October 2021, they joined Ethicon Inc. as an Electrical Hardware and Embedded Systems Engineer, focusing on non-invasive tumor ablation systems and technology using RF and Microwave energy. Matthew worked at Ethicon Inc. till March 2023.
Previously, Matthew worked as a Signal Integrity (SI/PI) Engineer at Apple from December 2020 to October 2021, and as a Signal Integrity and RF Simulation Engineer at Raytheon Intelligence & Space from February 2020 to September 2020. Matthew also worked as a Signal Integrity Engineer on a remote contract basis from August 2019 to October 2019.
Matthew's earlier experience includes working as an EMC Design Engineer at Rockwell Automation from March 2017 to June 2019, and as the President and Principal RF Hardware Consulting Engineer at Peak Gain Wireless from an unknown start date to April 2016. At Peak Gain Wireless, they provided expertise in wireless design and RF performance optimization for various applications.
Matthew Meiller holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Electromagnetics and Antennas from Southern Methodist University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MSEE) in Electrical Engineering from the National Technological University from 2001 to 2004. Furthermore, Matthew Meiller completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where they received a Bachelor of Science (BSEE) degree in Electrical Engineering from 1992 to 1998. Before pursuing higher education, Matthew Meiller attended Milwaukee Trade and Technical High School. In terms of certifications, they have obtained several, including being a Certified EMC Engineer from iNARTE (obtained in December 2020), an iNarte ESD Engineer from Exemplar Global, Inc. (obtained in August 2017), an iNarte EMC Engineer from Exemplar Global, Inc. (obtained in June 2007), and the Professional Engineer License (PE) from the State of Texas Board of Professional Engineers, which is transferable to Wisconsin (obtained in September 2004).
