Stephen Wokes has a diverse work experience history in the fields of engineering and consultancy. Stephen started their career at Compass Management Consulting as a Model Analyst, responsible for maintaining and evolving the company's software model. Stephen then moved on to SSTL, where they worked as a Mission Analyst and later as a System Engineer on various satellite projects. In 2016, they founded Wookanana Limited, where they served as Director, focusing on developing mobile and PC games and providing consultancy on satellite system engineering. Most recently, Stephen held roles at Astroscale, starting as a Senior System Engineer and progressing to Principal Systems Engineer before becoming the Engineering Director.
Stephen Wokes completed their Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics at the University of Cambridge from 1998 to 2001. Stephen then pursued a Master of Science and a Ph.D. in Astrodynamics at the University of Surrey from 2003 to 2004 and from 2004 to 2008, respectively.
