Eric Wallis, PMP is an experienced professional with a diverse background in engineering and operations roles. Eric currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Astrotech Technologies Inc., a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this, they were the Director of Engineering at the same company from November 2020 to April 2023.

In addition to their current role, Eric has served as the Engineering & Operations Leader at Astrotech Corporation, BreathTech Corporation, AgLAB Inc, and 1st Detect Corporation since November 2020.

Eric also gained valuable experience during their time at General Dynamics, where they held the positions of Principal Systems Engineer from December 2008 to June 2011, Development Lab Manager from January 2007 to October 2010, Senior Systems Engineer from June 2008 to December 2008, and Systems Engineer from June 2005 to June 2008.

Prior to their tenure at General Dynamics, Eric worked as a Chemical Engineer at EG&G Technical Services from April 2004 to May 2005.

Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated their strong project leadership skills and ability to drive product improvement and development initiatives.

Eric Wallis, PMP, holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University. Eric attended Purdue University from 1999 to 2003, earning their degree in Chemical Engineering. In July 2003, Eric obtained the Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification from the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency. Later, in June 2010, they obtained the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
