Tai-Yi Huang

Tai-Yi Huang serves as the Chief Value Proposition and Chief Technology Officer at ASUS since October 2018. Prior experience includes significant roles at Microsoft from May 2009 to September 2018, where responsibilities encompassed leading the Microsoft Analysis Service engine, managing the XAP team for query processing, and overseeing the Bing Crawl and Web Index Discovery & Selection teams. Prior to Microsoft, Tai-Yi held a position as Staff Engineer and Development Manager at Google, focusing on Universal Search and Android Platforms, and served as an Associate Professor of Computer Science at National Tsing Hua University. Early experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Microsoft in the Windows OS Kernel Performance Group. Tai-Yi holds a PhD and MS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as a BS from National Taiwan University.
