Annie O'Brien is a Human Resources Manager at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre since March 2022, leading efforts to support over 7,000 people seeking asylum and refugees in Australia. Earlier experience includes positions as a Production Coordinator at Light + Shade and Manager at SHEIKE, where retail operations and staff management were key responsibilities. Annie holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Deakin University and a Victorian Certificate of Education from Siena College, Camberwell.

We are an independent not for profit organisation, whose programs support and empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social well being. As a movement, we mobilise and unite communities to create lasting social and policy change for people seeking asylum in Australia.
