Chris Darmanin is a seasoned professional with significant experience in risk management and the financial sector. Currently serving as a Senior Associate in ESG Risk Management at National Australia Bank since July 2023, Chris previously held various roles at NAB over a span of 13 years, culminating in senior positions in corporate and institutional banking. In addition to corporate experience, Chris has been dedicated to volunteer work in office management at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre since November 2016. Academically, Chris is pursuing a Postgraduate Degree in Environmental Studies at Curtin University, complementing a background that includes a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Finance from La Trobe University. The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) is both a place and a movement. We are an independent not for profit organisation, whose programs support and empower people seeking asylum to maximise their own physical, mental and social well being. As a movement, we mobilise and unite communities to create lasting social and policy change for people seeking asylum in Australia.
