Al Simpson is a Senior Aviation Analyst and Metroplex Group Lead at ATAC, a position held since August 2009, where responsibilities include leading project teams across the U.S. and overseeing various aspects of aviation analysis such as project management, data analytics, and traffic simulation. Prior to ATAC, Al Simpson worked at Jeppesen, a Boeing Company, from July 2003 to August 2009 as a Trip Planning and Flight Operations Supervisor, managing the operational needs of corporate aviation and overseeing flight planning services. Earlier experience includes a role as a Technician at International Rectifier, an Infineon Technologies Company, from January 1995 to January 1997, focusing on equipment maintenance and various gas handling procedures. Al Simpson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations from San Jose State University, earned between 1998 and 2002.
