John McKeown

John McKeown, CFA, currently serves as the Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income Trading at ATB Capital Markets as of October 2023. Previously, John held the position of Strategic Advisor at Migrations.ml from August 2019 to October 2023, providing expertise in client partnerships and funding strategies while leveraging machine learning technology to enhance the risk-return profile of debt instruments. Prior to Migrations.ml, John spent over two decades at CIBC Capital Markets, where significant roles included Managing Director and Global Head of Government Spread Product Trading, and Executive Director Head of Provincial Fixed Income Trading. John's career began at Scotiabank as a Provincial Fixed Income Trader, where John managed client trading flows for provincial debt instruments. John obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics from York University.
