Melinda Fraser

Melinda (Mindy) Fraser is a seasoned professional in operational risk management, currently serving as the Senior Operational Risk Manager at ATB Financial since September 2023, where leadership in the development and implementation of the Operational Resilience program is a focus. Prior to this role, Mindy accrued extensive experience at CIBC from July 2013 to September 2023, culminating as Director of Reputation Risk, Policy, and Governance Advisory, and earning recognition as a Top 1% performer with CIBC’s Annual Achiever award in 2019. Mindy’s career at CIBC also included significant roles such as Senior Manager in Risk Insights and Reporting, and Senior Risk Analyst, alongside a diverse background in various project and analyst positions. Mindy began gaining professional experience through various co-op positions, starting in 2009 during studies in Economics and Business at the University of Waterloo, where a finance specialization was complemented by a minor in Biology.
