Chad Larges has a diverse work experience starting from 1993 when they joined the US Navy as a Naval Officer. Chad served in various positions within the Navy, including roles as a Naval Flight Officer and Electronic Warfare/Information Warfare Officer. In 2007, they joined The Joint Staff/Department of Defense, where they worked as an Action Officer/Global Force Management and later as an Afghanistan Pakistan Hand. In 2014, they joined the U.S. Naval Research Lab as the Military Deputy for Space Programs. Chad then transitioned to Assurance Technology Corporation, where they held roles such as Aerospace Engineer, Director of Washington Operations, and currently serves as the Vice President of Washington Operations.
Chad Larges has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the US Naval Academy, which they obtained from 1989 to 1993. Chad then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Leadership and Human Resource Development from The United States Naval Postgraduate School, graduating in 2000. In 2009 to 2012, Chad attended the Diplomatic Language School to study the Dari language, though they did not obtain a degree during that time. Finally, from 2011 to 2012, they attended the National War College, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in National Security Strategy. In terms of additional certifications, Chad obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in May 2016.
