Thomas Hackathorn has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Thomas started their career as an Assistant at Collision Research & Graphics, where they assisted with collision reconstruction cases. Thomas then worked as an Engineering Cooperative Education Intern at Enginetics Aerospace, where they created and revised operation work instructions for manufacturing processes. Following that, Thomas completed three internship rotations as an R&D Engineering Intern at Alphatec Spine, gaining experience in the design and development of implants and instruments for spinal surgeries. Thomas also worked at The University of Toledo Student Recreation Center as a Challenge Dept. Climbing Instructor/High Ropes Facilitator, responsible for supervising patrons, ensuring their safety, and leading climbing clinics. Currently, Thomas is employed at Alphatec Spine, holding positions such as Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer, Project Engineer, and currently, Senior Project Engineer.
Thomas Hackathorn attended The University of Toledo from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
