Neil McDonald has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. Neil began as a Freelance Writer at Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in 2009, then became a Freelance Journalist at Waterloo Region Record in 2010. In 2008, they took on the role of Head of Marketing Communications at Athena Software, and in 2021 they became a Content Strategist at Aterlo Networks and Digital Marketing at Gifted Waterloo.
Neil McDonald received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Literature from the University of Waterloo and a Journalism degree from Conestoga College.
