Michael Scianna

Michael Scianna serves as the Corporate Director of Rehabilitation Services for Athena Health Care Systems, overseeing operations in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island since December 2018. Previously, Michael held the position of Regional Director of Rehabilitation Services and served as Director of Rehabilitation at Shady Knoll Health Center from September 2015 to September 2024. Michael’s extensive clinical experience includes roles as a Speech Pathologist at St. Francis Care - Mount Sinai Rehabilitation Hospital, FF Thompson Hospital, Bridgeport Hospital, and Strong Memorial Hospital, providing comprehensive therapy for patients with various disorders. Michael earned a Master of Science in Teaching Students with Speech and Language Deficits and a Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology, both from Ithaca College.
