Michael Starkey

Michael Starkey is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry. As the Co-founder and COO of Athena Home Loans since July 2017, Michael has played a pivotal role in shaping the company's direction. Previously, Michael held significant leadership positions, including Director at Doshii and the New Payments Platform (Australia), as well as Board Member for the Australian Payments Council. Notably, Michael served as Executive General Manager at National Australia Bank, overseeing various divisions, and was a Non-Executive Director at Homeloans Ltd. Michael's career began as a Co-Founder of iSelect and further includes a partnership at Corporate Value Associates. Michael holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a degree in Electrical Engineering from Monash University.
