Cortie Thompson

Cortie Thompson, MHA, currently serves as the Executive Director of Enterprise Business Strategy at athenahealth, with a tenure beginning in July 2015. Throughout this period, Cortie has held various leadership positions, including Director roles in Enterprise Business Strategy and Hospital Solution Design, where responsibilities encompassed leading the Hospital Solution Design team to showcase athenahealth's value to high-priority health system prospects. Prior to athenahealth, Cortie held strategic roles at MEDHOST, focusing on patient throughput solutions, and Emory Healthcare, where involvement in strategic planning and project management was significant. Cortie holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Clemson University.
