Michael Palantoni

Michael Palantoni serves as the Vice President of Platform and Data Services at athenahealth, a position held since June 2012, where responsibilities include leading product initiatives for various services such as API development, analytics, and marketplace solutions to enhance healthcare ecosystem tools. Prior roles at athenahealth include Executive Director of Platform Strategy and Operations, General Manager of Patient Network Services, Director of Product Innovation, and Senior Manager of Product Innovation, with a focus on patient engagement and service delivery. Additionally, Michael holds the position of Vice Chair on the Board of CommonWell Health Alliance since April 2022 and previously worked as a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, specializing in strategy for the healthcare and technology sectors. Michael earned a BS in Civil Engineering with a concentration in Systems Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University in 2008.
