Amy Piepmeier

Amy Piepmeier currently serves as Vice President & Senior Counsel in the Legal & Compliance department at Athene USA, a position held since September 2018. Prior experience includes serving as a Shareholder at Davis Brown Law Firm, where leadership was provided for the Securities Law practice, alongside a focus on corporate governance and renewable energy. Amy's earlier roles encompassed serving as Privacy Officer and Corporate Responsibility & Risk Manager at Dallas County Hospital, and as an Attorney at Principal Financial Group, specializing in compliance with securities laws. Amy's legal career began as an Associate Attorney at BrownWinick, contributing to various practice groups over several years. Amy holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Iowa College of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Additional international educational experience includes summer coursework at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.
