Julie Grotnes

Julie Grotnes is currently serving as the VP HR Business Partner at Athene since April 2022. Prior to this role, Grotnes held various positions at Wells Fargo from January 2001 to May 2021, including Sr. HR Business Partner, SVP, and Business Initiatives Consultant/Corporate HR Policy, VP. Grotnes began a career in human resources at MercyOne Medical Center, working as a Human Resources Manager from March 1990 to January 2001, and also held the position of HR Manager at Von Maur from 1985 to 1990. Grotnes started in the corporate sector as a Corporate Advertising Assistant and progressed to Corporate Retail Buyer at Von Maur. Grotnes obtained a BA in Communications from Luther College between 1981 and 1985.
