Chantal Waight has extensive work experience in the financial sector, particularly in insurance and asset management. Chantal currently serves as the Managing Director of Group Risk at Athora since April 2023. Prior to that, they were a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Operating Oversight Committee at The Investor Forum CIC starting from December 2020. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at M&G plc as the Director of Strategy & Corporate Development. Chantal also held the position of Director of Investor Relations at Prudential plc from August 2017 to April 2019. Chantal began their career at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in 1997 as an Insurance Equity Analyst before joining Deutsche Bank in 2002 for the same role. Chantal joined M&G Investments in 2008, where they held various positions including Head of Equity Research and Co-Head of Equity Research.
Chantal Waight attended the University of Oxford from 1994 to 1997, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Their field of study during this time was Philosophy, Politics, and Economics.
